Dr. Keith has a wonderful way with our four-legged friends. He lets them know that everything is going to be okay with his calming words and healing touch. He has a kind and compassionate heart."
You probably don’t even realize the impact you have had on all of our lives. I honestly believe Monet would not be with us today if it weren’t for you working with us to help overcome the issues she has with the Addison’s disease. At 13 years old she is a healthy, happy girl who plays like a 5 year old. Lexi has transformed from being weak and timid to a strong and confident dog who loves to go for walks and plays ball non-stop every night. Both of them are healthy, happy and well adjusted. At our house, when the dogs are doing well, we are all happy! We used to visit the vet’s office a minimum of once a month before finding you. Now we only go occasionally for routine tests and checkups. They used to know us as their most frequent clients. Now they forget who we are and that is a good thing!"
Dr. Keith Weingardt is an AMAZING human being, and an EXCELLENT clinician… Dr. Weingardt not only helped clinically, but Spiritually as well… he was extremely supportive, full of empathy… wonderfully caring, and always focused on what was best for both Sammy and our family. I cannot recall ever having met a more wonderful, caring, and clinically “in-tune” veterinarian (or other physician for that matter...)."
When it comes to bedside manner, Dr. Keith Weingardt is simply unmatched! Our dogs loved their “Uncle Keith”, and we have learned that Dr. Weingardt’s remarkable wisdom is absolutely critical to making the best choices for our pets in difficult times. Dr. Weingardt has an uncanny ability to connect with an animal and share profound insights that are so important when facing an illness, especially for those of us to whom pets are family. If you are looking for a brilliant veterinarian who is not only exceptionally skilled and compassionate but also wise, practical, and courageous enough to tell it to you straight, you need not look any further. Dr. Weingardt is paws down the best ally your pet could ever have!"
It’s an absolute pleasure to offer this testimonial for Dr. Keith Weingardt DVM. Listing his skills and talents would take pages, but let us say this: Of all the men and women we have met in the veterinarian care field Dr. Keith stands alone. Not only an exceptional animal caregiver, he has the irreplaceable ability to understand how animals think and feel. Often in the past we’ve remarked, “ If only our dog could tell us what hurts….” Keith instinctively knows. How he does it is a unique gift. Beyond that, Keith Weingardt is one of the finest human beings we’ve ever met. Honest, straightforward, humble and trustworthy."
Dr. Keith Weingardt is the best veterinarian that we have ever had the privilege of knowing. Dr. Keith saved our Fozzie from a horrible disease called Discoid Lupus. When Fozzie was diagnosed our then regular vet placed Fozzie on a very high dose of antibiotics and steroids, which at 6 years old was a death sentence. We knew that his organs will shut down due to these medications way before he would die of the actual disease. Frightened we spoke to some of our friends who were raving about Dr. Keith. Even though the wait list to see him was very long – Dr. Keith is VERY popular because he is a true healer - we waited. Dr. Keith talked to us for over an hour. He sat on the floor with our Fozzie and truly examined him promising that within a month Fozzie will be weaned off of the traditional poisonous medication and will be on a herbal mixture. Everything that Dr. Keith said came true – Fozzie’s disease went into remission and he was totally off the western medications. Dr. Keith also helped with Fozzie’s Rheumatoid Arthritis, skin issues, etc. Whenever Fozzie would go for an appointment he would get so excited when we would drive up to Dr. Keith’s office -he would pull us to go inside – he just loves Dr. Keith. In the past when he would go to his traditional western medicine vet he would need to be physically pulled out of the car – he hated to go there. When we found out that Dr. Keith was leaving San Diego, I must admit I cried….we all cried. If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Keith as your vet, treasure every moment as it is a privilege."
How to capture the indescribable … Yes, it’s impossible but this writer will endeavor to try. No one can match Dr. Keith – seriously. We were newer to town without compatriots to call upon when my own baby Riptide acquired bone cancer after he and I were struck by a car as pedestrians. Even now, I’m grateful we had a whole year to hang out before his was called back home. No one met Riptide where he was more fully and with a more engaging and receptive heart than Keith Weingardt. Every fear I brought to the table was received, appreciated and placed in its necessary casket with the utmost respect and at the most appropriate time. Riptide’s pain stabilized under Dr. Keith’s care though in greater likelihood because he knew deep down that his new doctor truly felt his feelings and life were worthwhile. Despite the obvious heartfelt trauma every animal owner encounters with their fur babies, their chosen exit strategy does indeed hold its own impact in the wake of their departure. I once read a testimonial from a San Diego client claiming ‘I cried when I learned Dr. Keith was moving,’ and clearly, I can fully appreciate why. Bring Dr. Keith into the lives of your loved ones and they and you will always be whole.
Dr. Kayser is amazing!! She has helped my older dog get back on track when he had several health issues. She's compassionate and really looks out for the best interest for your animal!
Dr Kayser is an amazing Dr. and an amazing person. She has helped my boy out so much. She goes above and beyond to help her patients. Rex loves her and drags me in to her office to see her.

We credit our 10 year old English Mastiff Dozer's excellent health and vitality to his time with Dr. Nicole Kayser. Her healing skills are surpassed only by her beautiful, loving energy.

Dr. Kayser brings a wealth of knowledge to her work along with a gentle and loving approach to the animals in her care!
We understand that you recently added Dr Nicole Kayser to your staff. Our loss here in Upstate New York is certainly your great gain!
This past winter we lost our two beloved, sweet German Shepherds, Elsa and Eli at age 11 ½ and 12 respectively. Both dogs suffered from severe degenerative myelopathy. Our female also endured pemphigus and a number of other auto-immune issues.
We found Dr. Kayser in September 2013 after finding that traditional veterinary medicine had nothing at all to offer for treatment of D.M.. Dr Kayser’s practice was just 30 miles from us and we felt it was worth a shot at least to help our kids have a reasonable quality of life. We practice personal alternative medical care ourselves as complimentary to our traditional care, so we felt it was certainly worth the effort for Elsa and Eli. Apparently we made an excellent choice. Dr Kayser had the training and skills in both allopathic and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Her knowledge and application of a wide range of acupuncture techniques and Chinese herbal remedies was encyclopedic and highly effective in our view, all the while being sensitive to the financial limitations of her clients(us).
We were with Dr Kayser for about 3 ½ years until we lost Eli in April 2017. In that time we came to know her quite well and to love her like family. She was SO personable and down-to-earth! Her willingness to share her incredible knowledge, and to do it in a way that was so caring, understanding and easy to assimilate was a true gift. Her personal skill in dealing with and relating to both “parent” and furry child was also very much in evidence. Both our Shepherds absolutely loved Dr Kayser and allowed her to do whatever treatment was needed without resistance of any kind….. a level of trust rare in the breed. Each visit with Dr Kayser felt more like spending time with a dear family member who just happened to be a highly skilled and caring integrative veterinarian. As we came closer and closer to the end for these sweet souls, Dr Kayser demonstrated over and over her ability to understand our sadness and concerns.
We believe that, without question, Dr Kayser extended the quality of life period for Elsa and Eli well beyond what might have been expected, particularly given their degenerative myelopathy diagnosis. We really do wish she was still here. She is one of a kind and you all are VERY fortunate!
